" Little children welcome ! "
I would like to open the doors of my home to families and, as a mother of six children who loves travelling with them, I am also offering the possibility of a "baby-sitting" service, so as to enable parents to take smaller children with them, without necessarily having to watch them 24 hours a day! Pamela, a young lady with a Diploma in Social Studies Applied to Infancy and Multiculturalism, and her friend Esterina will look after your young ones under my supervision. In my absence, Ms Renée, herself a mother and her brother Gonzalo will provide the necessary support. Native of Lima they speak Spanish, thus plugging a possible linguistic gap: along with Italian, of course, I speak fluent German, having attended an all German school in Milan as a young girl. Thanks to my studies and the extensive travelling I have done through the years I can also entertain French and English speakers.

I am extremely proud to be able to offer such an international environment, as I am positive it will help adults to understand each other and your children to feel a little bit as though they were at home!
Time will fly for them: all you need is a little bit of imagination and a large garden, which will provide many opportunities for fun and laughter. Not to mention the sheer excitement of helping to make bread the old fashioned way, baking the loaf outside in the old bread oven underneath the veranda!
When available, my children will be able to contribute to the entertainment playing guitar, giving cello lessons or hitting a few balls on the tennis court nearby.
The safety of your younger children is paramount in my home, which is why a leafy enclosure has been established to one side of the garden, underneath the trees, specifically for them. With regards to health and safety, the house is in the country but is not isolated. Approx. half a mile away you will find the B-road linking Lake Trasimeno to Perugia, ideal not only as a starting point for those who would like to visit the artistic towns across Umbria and Tuscany, but also as a quick link to several vital facilities such as chemists and a doctor, for instance.

I can make a few interesting suggestions for older children, too, as the surrounding area provides plenty of opportunities for exercise and sporting activities either a few hundred metres away from home or within a short car ride distance.

Not to mention Lake Trasimeno, with its beaches and watersports facilities, just 6 miles away. For those who are interested in nature, there are plenty of pathways for excursions on foot, as well as for bike and horse rides. Lastly, for those who would like to work on their fluency in the Italian language, Perugia offers the great advantage of the prestigious Universita' per Stranieri (University for Foreigners). Intensive courses in Italian Language and Culture are held during the summer months, too.
